Big Picture

Tsunamis start off as a little earthquake, landslide or volcanic eruptions under the sea. They usually strike at coasts, destroying homes, ecosystems, human/animal life and much more. What we need to do is plan for the future. One way is by looking at scientific recordings on the earths crust and sea level to see if there is any activity that would cause a tsunami.. The more you plan for it, the more you know on how hard it is going to hit, and how to avoid it- saving thousands of lives.

  1. People in Greece are also facing the issue of deadly tsunamis because destruction by them have caused lots of problems, like oil lamps falling over and starting fires, and also just water destroying property.

  2. This is like in other parts of Asia where they have monsoons. The flood the area in some seasons and then follow up with a drought. The people have to plan for the upcoming weather in their area.

  3. This reminds me of bangladesh because they have a huge river delta and tsunami are likely to occur. People living there also have problems with cyclones, which are similar to floods.
